* 코디네이터 프로그램 소개
ㅇ 인천대학교 재학생과 신입 외국인 유학생 멘토 프로그램
ㅇ 신입 유학생들의 초기 유학생활 정착을 도와주는 프로그램
ㅇ 수강신청부터 학업에 대한 필요한 도움을 주는 프로그램
ㅇ 봉사정신, 유대정신, 열정적인 참여정신과 책임감을 필요로 하는 프로그램
ㅇ 참여하는 모든 학생들이 서로의 문화를 나눔으로써 즐거움과 보람을 느낄 수 있음.
* 코디네이터 프로그램 장점
ㅇ 전체 코디 지원금(식대 및 교통비) 지급 (70,000원)
ㅇ 학생역량관리시스템 마일리지 및 장학포인트 지급
ㅇ 향후 국제화 프로그램 참여(교환학생 등) 시, 가산점 부여

1) 자기소개서 등 서류 평가
* 동일학과 외국인 유학생 우선 배정
* 지원자가 많을 시, 성적 등 내부기준에 따라 선발
2) 선발자 발표: 8/9(금) 개별연락 및 홈페이지 공지 예정

4. 활동기간: 2024년 8월 12일 ~ 2024년 9월 30일 (약 2개월)
5. 활동내용
가. 외국인 유학생 기숙사 입소 안내
나. 외국인 유학생 수강신청 및 학사일정 안내(필수)
- 미 입국 혹은 수강신청을 직접 하지 못하는 학생들을 위해 수강 신청 대신 해주기
다. 국제교육지원팀 각종 행사 안내 및 참여
라. 전공수업 안내
마. 교내 투어, 강의실 및 도서관 등 시설 안내
바. 외국인학생 핸드폰 개설 및 통장 개설 안내
사. 마트 및 병원 등 주변 편의시설 안내 및 학교생활에 필요한 도움 등
6. 필수사항
개강 후 첫째 주: 멘티와 함께 각 조별로 국제교육지원팀 사무실 방문하여 활동사진 촬영
- 국제교육지원팀 방문하여 활동 인증한 학생들은 활동보고서 제출 면제
- 미 방문 시 기한 내 별도의 활동보고서 및 증빙자료 제출
- 활동내역 인증이 없을 경우 지원금이 지급되지 않을 수 있습니다.
<주의사항>
코디네이터 프로그램은 외국인 학생을 위한 봉사 활동 프로그램으로 소명의식을 가지고 지원하시기 바랍니다.
또한, 코디네이터 매칭 후 연락두절 등 외국인 학생에게 불편을 일으키는 경우, 향후 모든 국제화 프로그램 지원 시 제한될 수 있습니다.

* Description of the Coordinator Program
ㅇ It is a mentor program between incumbent students and incoming students.
ㅇ The program is to accommodate new international students to settle down in an alien environment.
ㅇ Coordinators of the Program will consult their mentee with academic activities (e.g., course registration).
ㅇ Required quality of the Coordinators: Active empathy, unbiased fellowship, and considerate responsibility
ㅇ This Program promotes the joy of multi-cultural activities among all the participants.

ㅇ Support (about KRW 70,000)
ㅇ Star-INU Mileage
ㅇ Extra credits for other international programs that comes later

- Enrolled students in Incheon National University
- Responsible people who are fond of volunteer work
2. Application
- How to apply: Apply by the google form(https://forms.gle/9g9gx9NWSkftgrri6) the application deadline is due August 2, Friday.
- Decision Process of the Coordinators
1) Document inspection
* Priority is given to international students provided that the candidates of consideration belong to the same major.
* In case of many applicants, the coordinators are selected by the grade/year levels and other rational standards.
2) Final decision: Announced on the University homepage on August 9 as well as by personal contact

※ The number of positions is subject to change by the final number of registered international students and the number of applied coordinators.
4. Program Term: August 12 – September 30, 2024 (about 2 months)
5. Main Activities
A. To guide the dormitory check-in for international students
B. To advise the course registration and an academic schedule
* If the matched students cannot enter Korea in time or they are unable to register by themselves, the Coordinators need to register the course on behalf of their matched students.
C. To remind of mandatory International Service Center events
D. To provide the information about major classes.
E. To guide a campus tour to the University facilities
F. To help to activate a cell-phone and to open a bank account
G. To accompany the students to essential facilities such as food markets and hospital
6. Required Activities
Visit the International Service Center’s office with mentees within September and take an photo
- Students who visit the International Service Center and certify activities are exempted from submitting activity reports
- Any student who fails to visit the officeshall submit a separate activity report and evidentiary materials within the deadline
- If there is no certification of activity details, the subsidy may not be paid.
<Remark>
Please volunteer for this Coordinator Program with responsibility and reliability, which will be highly appreciated. If the coordinator troubles or mistreats international student(s) during this Program, he/she shall be excluded permanently from any international programs with Incheon National University.
