About the Division

The Division of Fine Arts began as the Dept. of Art (Oriental and Western Painting) in 1981. It was reorganized into the Division of Fine Arts (Korean and Western Painting) in 2010 and is now a national university.

The Division of Fine Arts offers specialized and systematic theoretical courses and in-depth professional creative practice courses in Korean and Western painting, aiming to develop and inherit traditional painting and create a future-oriented contemporary art culture.
