  It is a process of understanding the material characteristics of watercolor expression and acquiring the extraordinary sensibility of water-based materials through various expression techniques. This practical sculpture course expands objective and subjective expression within the expanded concept of contemporary art.

• HAO6036 The Basic of Creative Image   *Plane Crude

  The three-dimensional sculpture is a primary curriculum for understanding basic design principles and concepts on a two-dimensional surface and creating more mature designs by organizing design elements.
  Acquire a sense of basic sculpture by applying various expression methods and media.
  In-depth treatment of form and color sense principles leads to the original expression.

• HAO6009 Discourse for General Aesthetics

  This course examines the central concepts of various theories of beauty and art in the context of the history of aesthetics. It aims to explore these theories' formal structure and limitations by examining the problems and methods of aesthetics in depth.

• HAO6010 History of Korean Arts

  This course provides a stylistic and psycho-historical understanding of the flow of Korean art by dividing it into periods, identifying the characteristics of Korean art and its position in world art history, and developing an insight into the situation and direction of Korean contemporary art.

• HAO6011 Theory of Arts Appreciation

  To develop the basic aptitude to reach an accurate aesthetic judgment based on the study of sensitivity to art and reflection on art itself.

• HAO6014 3-D & Space *Sculpture

  Understand the concepts of three-dimensionality, space, and formative language, and expand the scope of expression three-dimensionally by experimenting with various materials and techniques.
  Based on this, we want to discover students' different temperaments and dispositions and inspire their creative abilities.

• HAO6012 History of Oriental Painting

  This course explores the psycho-historical currents of the East, specifically China, and Japan, which are part of the Chinese character culture along with Korea. Through this, we will analyze art's flow and stylistic characteristics in each period and explore the uniqueness of Eastern art through a macro-level comparison with Western art.

  It examines the historical development of various styles of Western art and the changes in society, mentality, technology, and materials that contributed to the changes in types.

  While lecturing on each sculpture element, this course analyzes and explains the contents of the specific aspects of art studies individually and by piece and lectures on analyzing works according to aesthetics, artology, and critical theory in general.

  Learn the artistic anatomy necessary to represent the human body, to depict the exact structure, and to aid in the sculpture.

  The course will provide students with a moral, historical, and methodological background in aesthetics, art studies, and literary criticism, leading them to make critical discoveries about the relevance of a work of art to the period of its approach and the artist.

  While art has an aesthetic and emotional function to enrich human life, it also reflects the zeitgeist.
